Feeling GOOD About Yourself?

Good Magazine

Starting in 2004, Ben Goldhirsh had an idea. His idea was to entertain by brining together the “Change Makers” of society. When I say Change Makers, if you really take a look at the content of the site, you’ll find stimulating media content, very peculiar stories, and many issues that will enlighten or awaken the socially concious. In the long run, this is an up and coming news service which aims to do anything to awaken peoples minds on a myriad of topics. It’s GOOD.

GOOD has become a traditional subscription based magazine, provides documentary films, holds events, as well as multi-media content. Good has a unique goal; to gain 50,000 subscribers and to giveaway $1 million away. The $ 1 million will be relinquished to charities of the subscribers choice.

The GOOD online media property has the Good rating system, which is similar to Digg. Also, the search & filter system is very user friendly as you can get a quick drop down of specific categories where various types of content, ranging from Media, Politics, Technology, Business & Money. These are some of my favorite categories.

The company will be traveling south next week on March 12, 2007 to host the an extravaganza for the South by Southwest Party in Austin, Tx.

There is a strong vision the Goldhirsh has of GOOD, and is continually being developed daily. Here is a video that supports the attention of the site.
