It’s been said that a picture can show a thousand words. Now, your pictures can show a bit more than words & maybe even a bit more than just the story. Queensland Australia’s Comeeko is a service which allows you to make a comic strip out of our photos. The site recently launched, in January.
The site has social networking aspects where you not only have your own gallery where you can create your photo strips, but you can also vote on other users photo strips that are available publicly. Additionally, you can comment on their photo strips. I created an example below:

The site uses Flash to create the strip. You have the option to select from 2 - 9 types of cell variations in various sizes as well. It’s very easy to use, however, getting the sizing right may be a bit difficult. You can get embed codes that come in various sizes from small thumbnail sizes to large that can be placed on the site. When completed, you are able to put embed your photo-strip in MySpace or your website. Currently, you are not able to embed using Wordpress. But that will probably change quickly.
The site was created by a team of web-designers under the umbrella of Golden-Orb technologies. The company has other sites as well:
Buttonator: You can create buttons for your site.
Pikipimp: Pimp out & add bling to your photos
Ovosuite: Offers collaboration software.
