Red Roller: What Other Free Shipping Service is there?

Red RollerIf you really think about it, in everyday life, people are and will always be in need of some type of service. The service I was desperately in need of was finding a fast, and cheap solution to shipping a package. However, there are many options of choosing services, such as FedEx, UPS, Post Office and more. The only problem with so many services is making choices.
Red Roller, a east-coast based company located in Connecticut, is one service that assist you with making choices. It’s a service that allows you to search, categorize, and analyze various shipping alternatives, prices and companies. It’s a service that even has gone a step further and allows for a one-stop location of shipping all online.
An extremely useful tool that is provided is a user can search for a shipping solution, choose their solution, print the label, pay for the solution, get serviced by the shipper of their choice, and ship their package all while sitting in their pajamas in front of their PC’s.

I think this will be a great service to work-at-home professionals in not only cutting costs but saving them time in sending out packages. This service is also great for people who do high volumes in sales on Ebay. Today, I could have saved time, gas money, and the thought of paying extra money for a next day delivery service. According to Red Roller, I would have saved 1/3 of what I spent today using the service.
Red Roller provides ship tracking, custom reporting and you can even rank and list pricing alternatives from low to high as well as compare alternatives such as next day deliver. I think the best part is you can choose a drop off location, have the company pick up your package all from your desktop.
Red Roller was founded in late 2004 by Bill Van Wyck, an adventurer and entrepreneur. He founded and ran many start-up organizations such as Computer Specialities, Inc. which was acquired by Elcom. Also, he was CEO of the Hearth Kitchen Company. In 199, he sailed around the world for 936 days on his yacht. I think business must’ve been good for him during the years.
There site states that they are “The world’s first Internet-based shopping service for sipping packages.” They promote that the service is FREE. It eludes that the “shipping” is free, however, the service to search shipping alternatives is free is more accurate. Overall, it’s a great service to use to be able to search, save time, and make choices.
